Quick Answer#
Turnover Quality is the percentage of completed checklist items, across all of your finished turnovers, that came back with nothing flagged. It's a running measure of how clean your properties' turnover history has been, not a score for any single cleaning.
How It's Calculated#
Every checklist item a cleaner completes on a submitted turnover counts toward the total. Items the cleaner flagged as needing attention count against it. The percentage shown is simply how much of that total came back issue-free.
Because it looks across every completed turnover for every property on your account, one flagged item on one cleaning barely moves the number — but a pattern of flagged items over time will.
Superhost Standard#
When your score is 95% or higher, and every property has both a checklist and inventory set up, your dashboard shows a Superhost standard badge next to the score. It's a quick visual confirmation that your operation is performing at a consistently high level, not a rating shared with anyone outside your account.
Why You Might See "Setup Needed" Instead of a Score#
Turnover Quality can only be measured once there's something to measure. You'll see a setup message instead of a percentage if:
- A property has no checklist rooms configured yet.
- A property has no inventory tracked yet.
- No turnovers have been completed yet for any property.
Once at least one property has a checklist and at least one turnover has been submitted, the score starts reflecting real turnover history.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Does a single bad cleaning tank my score? Not by itself. The score is based on all completed checklist items across your history, so it moves gradually as more turnovers come in — one flagged item has limited effect on the overall percentage.
Is this score visible to my cleaners or guests? No. It's a private summary shown only on your own dashboard.
Can the score go back up after a flagged issue? Yes. As more issue-free turnovers are completed, they raise the percentage over time.
