Cleaner Cannot Open Their Report Link

Quick answer
A report link that shows "invalid or expired" has simply timed out — generate a fresh one. A link that shows "revoked" was intentionally disabled and needs a new link created for that turnover. Either way, the property's permanent cleaner link should still work.

Problem#

A cleaner opens their link and sees a message that it's invalid, expired, or revoked, instead of the turnover they expect.

Most Likely Causes#

  • The link expired. A specific turnover's report link expires after 24 hours (if the cleaner started it) or 7 days (if the owner generated it).
  • The link was revoked. An owner can intentionally cut off access to a specific turnover's link.
  • The wrong link was used. A link from a previous turnover won't open the current one.

Fastest Fix#

  1. Have the cleaner open the property's permanent cleaner link instead (the one that doesn't change turnover to turnover) — it will show the current or upcoming turnover and let them start fresh.
  2. If they only have an old, specific turnover link, the owner can generate a new one from the property's dashboard.

Diagnostic Steps#

  • "Invalid or expired" means the link has simply timed out — this is expected behavior, not an error, if enough time has passed since it was created.
  • "This link has been revoked" means someone intentionally disabled it — see Revoke a Cleaner's Access Link for why an owner might do this.
  • Confirm the cleaner is opening the most recently sent link, not one from an earlier text or message.

Advanced Troubleshooting#

If the permanent cleaner link also doesn't work, double-check it was copied in full when it was shared — a link cut off partway through won't resolve correctly.

Contact Support#

If the property's permanent cleaner link itself doesn't work, contact support with the property name so the link can be checked.
