Photos Are Not Uploading

Quick answer
Most upload problems come down to a weak connection, an unsupported file type, or too many photos selected at once. Try uploading a smaller batch on a stronger connection, and confirm the photos are a common format like JPEG, PNG or HEIC.

Problem#

Photos selected during the Turnover Photos step don't finish uploading, or seem stuck.

Most Likely Causes#

  • A weak or unstable internet or cell connection.
  • Too many photos selected in one batch, slowing things down.
  • An unsupported file type — Clean Report accepts common photo formats like JPEG, PNG, and HEIC/HEIF (the format many iPhones use by default).
  • The app or browser tab was closed before the upload finished.

Fastest Fix#

  1. Move to an area with a stronger Wi-Fi or cell signal if possible.
  2. Upload a smaller batch of photos (5–10) instead of all of them at once.
  3. Keep the tab open and wait a minute or two before assuming it's stuck — uploads continue in the background while you work through other steps.

Advanced Troubleshooting#

  • Check the file type. If a photo was saved in an unusual format from editing software, try re-saving or re-exporting it as a standard JPEG.
  • Try a different photo app. Some third-party camera apps save files in formats that may not upload correctly; your phone's default camera app is the most reliable choice.
  • Restart the upload. If a batch appears stuck, leaving and reopening the Turnover Photos step and re-selecting the remaining photos usually resolves it.

Contact Support#

If photos still won't upload after trying a smaller batch on a stable connection, contact support with the property name and roughly when the upload was attempted.
