Problem#
Photos on a Clean Report don't show how far they were taken from the property.
Most Likely Causes#
- The property doesn't have coordinates entered yet.
- The phone's location services were off when the photo was taken.
- The photo was transferred from another device or app that stripped its location metadata.
Fastest Fix#
- Check whether the property has coordinates saved under Property Setup & Sharing — if not, add them.
- Ask the cleaner to confirm their phone's camera app has location permission turned on before their next turnover.
Diagnostic Steps#
- If none of a property's photos ever show distance, the property likely doesn't have coordinates saved — this affects every photo equally.
- If some photos show distance and others don't, it's more likely an individual photo's location settings, not a property-level issue.
Advanced Troubleshooting#
Some third-party camera or editing apps strip metadata (including location) when saving or sharing a photo. Using the phone's default camera app for turnover photos is the most reliable way to preserve this data.
Contact Support#
Missing location data on a photo isn't itself an error to report — it simply means that signal isn't available for that photo. If every photo across every property is missing distance despite coordinates being saved, contact support with the property name.
