Two Different Kinds of Links#
A property's permanent cleaner link doesn't expire — it's meant to be reused for every turnover, for as long as that person is cleaning the property. See Add a Cleaner.
A specific turnover's report link is temporary. It's created either when a cleaner taps start on a turnover, or when an owner generates one directly, and it expires on its own:
- 24 hours if the cleaner started the turnover themselves.
- 7 days if the owner generated the link.
Revoking a Link#
An owner can revoke an active report link at any time, immediately cutting off access through that link — useful if a link was shared with the wrong person or a turnover needs to be restarted. See Revoke a Cleaner's Access Link.
What Happens With an Expired or Revoked Link#
- An expired link shows a message that the link is invalid or expired.
- A revoked link shows a message that it has been revoked — a distinct message from expiry, so it's clear the access was intentionally cut off rather than simply timing out.
Owner-Facing Links#
Links an owner uses — for a property, a report, or a specific checklist item — don't expose their underlying database identifiers directly. Instead, each link contains an encrypted, tamper-resistant token, so property and report identifiers can't be guessed or incremented by changing a number in the URL.

If a link expires, is the turnover's data lost? No. Expiry only affects that specific link's access; the Clean Report itself, once submitted, remains part of the property's history.
Can I generate a fresh link if one expires before the cleaner finishes? Yes — an owner can generate a new link for the same turnover from the property's dashboard.
