Add Your First Property

Quick Answer#

Add a property from your Clean Report dashboard by selecting Add Property and completing three steps: property details, restocking inventory, and room checklists. Once saved, the property gets its own dashboard and a permanent link you can share with a cleaner.

Step-by-Step#

1. From your dashboard, select Add Property.
2. Property Details — enter the property name, address (which automatically links to Google Maps on your dashboard), cleaning rate, currency, and the cleaner and owner contact numbers used for SMS alerts. If you want photo location verification, you can also enter the property's coordinates here.
3. Inventory — review the default restocking items and set your desired inventory levels, or select Copy Inventory From Another Property if you already manage one. For each item, choose how it depletes: Per Turnover (used up every clean), Per Occupied Night (used up based on how many nights a guest stays), or Manual (irregular items you update by hand). 4. Rooms & Checklists — review the default sections (such as surface-level issues, kitchen and bathroom) and their checklist items, and edit them to match your property's layout. Clean Report fully supports multiple rooms with the same name (e.g., adding several "Bedroom" or "Bathroom" sections) without naming collisions.
5. Save the property. It now appears on your dashboard with its own checklist, inventory and turnover history.

What Happens Next#

Once a property is created, Clean Report prompts you to connect your Airbnb or Vrbo calendar URL to detect checkouts and schedule turnovers automatically — see Syncing Your Booking Calendar. Frequently Asked Questions#

Can I change the checklist after the property is created? Yes. Rooms and checklist items can be edited at any time from the property's Rooms & Checklists tab.

Do I need to fill in the property's coordinates? It's optional, but entering the property's location lets Clean Report show how far each submitted photo was taken from the property, which is useful supporting evidence for a turnover.

Can I manage more than one property? Yes. Each property you add gets its own dashboard, checklist, inventory and cleaner link, all reachable from your account.
